Baby Beckham Newborn Session
Ten tiny fingers and ten tiny toes. Is there anything cuter than a new baby! I love doing Newborn Sessions, especially after I had the honor of photographing mom’s Maternity Session prior. It’s so wonderful seeing how much love a couple has for their arriving baby, and then to meet the little one son after. To see mom’s maternity session, please click here.
Here’s a peek into Baby Beckham Newborn Session.
I had the joy of photographing little Beckham at just a few days old. He was so snuggly and sleepy, a dream to pose. We decided to use blues and neutrals for his session. I loved using a white wrap and background for his announcement photo. His parents brought the birth announcement board with his info, which was such a great touch. I love to incorporate your personal items into your newborn sessions whenever possible.
Parent poses are always a favorite of mine. I love seeing them cuddled up to their new baby, so full of love. Blue was definitely Beckham’s color, as he looked so cute wrapped up in his parents arms. I have a vast selection of wraps and props in my studio that I use in all my Newborn Sessions.
Beckham was great to pose in my little wooden bed. I have been in love with using all sorts of neutral shades with my newborns, and was happy that Beckham’s parents loved neutrals too. Beckham was adorable in the light gray wrap and matching hat, all set of the chilly January weather outside. He was also cute sleeping in my metal bucket. Newborn Session Info
Newborn Photography is such a rewarding job, because I get to help capture these first precious moments for my clients. The best time to photograph a newborn baby is when they are between 5-14 days of age. After this small window, babies are a little harder to settle and those sweet, sleepy, curly poses can be more difficult to achieve.
You can contact me at any time during your pregnancy to give me an estimated due date. I will then make a tentative booking, and when you arrive home from the hospital with your brand new baby, please contact me to arrange a suitable day and time for your session. Newborn photography sessions can take 2-3 hours, allowing enough time for feeding and comforting. For any questions about my Newborn Sessions, please check out my FAQ’s.
