Twins can be twice the blessing in a family’s life. Although you might feel tired, nauseous, sore, aching and not yourself, to the world you are a beautiful woman bringing new lives into the world. What better way to celebrate their future arrival than with a beautiful Twin Maternity Session. I want to capture the magic and love surrounding your pregnancy, and show the love you have for the two little hearts you are keeping safe in your belly. Being pregnant is a memorable time in a woman’s life, and I want to give you beautiful photographs to remember this moment forever.

Twin Maternity Session
My latest client was pregnant with twins – a boy and a girl! I wanted to do something special to celebrate this moment in her life and make her feel beautiful before their arrival. I decided to do some shots in my natural light studio. She looked so stunning sitting on my antique gray velvet chair wearing a white lace maternity dress. To add interest to the photo, I shot the photo looking through my crystal chandelier. I also wanted to take a photo of her standing next to my new pallet wall. She looked so beautiful in the form-fitting black dress, cradling her belly. The natural light made her look like she was glowing.
In-studio Photos
We also did some shots using my studio light in my downstairs studio. I usually do more dark and moody photos with my studio light as we capture the connection she has with her babies… I love the contrast of her beautiful skin, showing off her cute bump, against my dark gray walls. I love using my fan to add some movement to her photos.
Although I encourage clients to bring their favorite clothes, SugaShoc Photography has a wonderful maternity wardrobe for you to use. I love using this black lace top with just a pair of my clients black underwear to show off their bellies. She looks stunning standing there, with her hands holding her two little loves, growing in her belly. I loved her smile in these photos. She was so excited and so in love with her son and daughter.
Pretty in Pink
For our last set-up, I put her in a beautiful, pink maternity gown by Matching Look on Etsy. She looked like a sleeping princess as surrounded by the flowing pink tulle skirt of the dress. MATERNITY PHOTOGRAPHY SESSIONS
Maternity photography sessions are best done between 28-36 weeks when the belly is nice and round and you are still relatively comfortable. These can be done in studio or at an outdoor location of your choice. All the gowns in this blog post are a part of a large selection of the studio’s maternity gowns, wraps, and outfits, that are available to you during your maternity photography session.
