In-studio Glam
As a Philadelphia Maternity Photographer for over 7 years now, I love that I have been able to capture these special moments for all the Mommies-to be. This gorgeous client wanted the full experience so she opted to do both a boudoir in studio maternity session, and an outdoor sunset session with her love. Hair & Makeup is such an important part of feeling glamorous and pampered so she opted to add Hair & Make-up to her Maternity Session package. We decided to start our Maternity Session in my upstairs studio with amazing natural light. I first posed her on the bed as she cradled her pregnant belly. I then posed her on a chair near the window, wearing the studio’s lovely lace, open-front dress. Her love for her baby radiated through her smile as she looked down on her baby bump.
If mom is up for it, we always grab some nude pregnant belly photos. The pregnant body is such a rare and beautiful sight so why not show it off? The light from the window gave her such a gorgeous glow. The final shot I took of her was in front of the window while holding a lace wrap and her belly. I love using my newborn fabrics in in-studio maternity sessions because I can use the same fabric for the newborn session and tie in both sessions!

Once we finished upstairs, we went to my downstairs studio to take some shots while using my studio lights.
Outdoor at Sunset
Later that same day, we met at the park for her outdoor sunset maternity session. This client understood that a woman only gets to experience pregnancy so many times and she wanted to capture it all, as this was her first. As a Philadelphia Maternity Photographer, I serve the larger Philadelphia region, with my studio located in Doylestown, PA. For outdoor shoots I tend to stick to two parks. Tyler State Park and Peace Valley Park. Both accent the beauty that is motherhood with nature as the backdrop. This Momma-to-be opted for Peace Valley and I have to say the results were exquisite.
