I was so excited for this family to come in for their newborn session. Dad had been away in Afghanistan and came back just in time for the birth of his beautiful daughter. I feel so fortunate to have met such a beautiful and courageous family and I just knew that I had to incorporate anything they wanted to bring to the session.
We had a lot of fun during the session and baby girl was so cooperative except for her hands. She loved them curled up and did not want to let go. Made me work for it but in the end, we got some really beautiful and memorable portraits. Newborns are only so curly and sleepy for a short amount of time and I am so glad that this family chose me to freeze this precious moment for them. It is an honor and a privilege and boy do I love my job.
