When this beautiful mom came to me for her maternity session, she told me that her husband wasn’t there because he was still in Afghanistan. I really admire women who love men in all sorts of uniformed professions. My husband was a cop, then a detective and I remember those nights when he would get called out and remember not knowing what would happen.
Fortunately, dad will be back when baby comes and I am so happy for this beautiful couple that they get to enjoy this next part of their lives together. I incorporated his tags in the maternity photos and knowing dad will be here for her newborn session makes me so happy for them.
