How to make a Newborn Nest Prop

How to make a Newborn Nest Prop? It is pretty easy to make a newborn nest prop. I got all my materials from Michael’s and they totaled about $41.25. It would cost you a lot less if you had a 50% off coup  on or a 20% off coupon for a total purchase. It would cost you between $69-100 if you bought it from Etsy and that is not even counting shipping costs which can run up to $20!!!

Here is what you will need:

Brown paper covered stem wire from the floral section: $2.29

18″ Grapevine wreath: $4.99

22″ Grapevine wreath: $7.99

26″ Grapevine wreath: $9.99

34″ Grapevine wreath: $15.99

Total Cost: $41.25

Just tie the smallest wreath to the next size up in 3 spots in a triangle formation and the way you secure it is by twisting it like in the picture above. Repeat with the next size up until you get the complete nest. Fill it with blankets, top it with a beautiful fake fur, or flokati, layer some burlap or different material cloths and there you have it! A beautiful and comfortable nest for your newborn baby to lay in. This nest is bigger than the nests you can get online so it would fit twins, triplets, etc. It can also hold babies that are 3 months – 6 months laying down and 9 month old babies sitting up.
