Love comes in all shapes and sizes, and sometimes itβs a little furry. Itβs always something special when a couple wants to bring in their dog for their newbornβs photo shoot. You never know what the pet will do, but I get the cutest photos of these loving animals with their new brother or sister.Β Contact me to schedule your Fur Baby Newborn Session today.
Hereβs a sneak peek into my latest Newborn Session.
Fur Baby Newborn Session β Newborn Photographer Bucks County PA | Doylestown Newborn Photographer
My clients were a fantastic couple who were so excited to have their first family photo shoot with their new baby boy. What made the experience extra special was being able to capture shots of their new son with their beloved Sugar.Β After Hurricane Harvey, my clients adopted Sugar from Texas through Rescue Road Trips. This organization transports dogs rescued from kill shelters in the south and brings them to their βfur-everβ homes in the Northeast. It meant a lot to them to have these photos of their babies, and I was happy to be able to capture these moments for them!
I just loved posing their son in my rustic wooden barrel. I always use lots of blankets for texture and fur throwsΒ for softness.Β The blue knit cap was a sweet touch on this adorable sleeping boy. Just look at how cute Sugar is posed next to her sleeping brother. He was very handsome in blue, so next I wrapped him in a blue wrap and placed him sleeping on a blue flokati from Luneberry. Love how his little mouth looks while he dozes away.
Sleeping Cap
He was such a good sleeper, that I wanted to do some posed with just some of the wonderful knit caps from Joie De Knits I have in my newborn wardrobe collection. Clients have access to any of my clothing and props in my studio during their sessions. I suggest clients take a look at my Newborn Portfolio page to get an idea of items they would want used in their session.
This little sleeper looked adorable posed on my white blanket while wearing my white knit hat with the pom pom. I love little naked tushies! He was also adorable in the little knit nightcap.Β Always a bonus when I get such a good sleeper that allows me to do so many poses.
Time for Bed
My little sleeper was so good, I wanted to pose him in some bed set-ups. My white bed is always a favorite to use in a newborn session.Β For ideas of available props, check out my Pinterest Page.Β I like to use lots of blankets and throws for texture in the photo. He looked adorable sleeping in my wooden crate with his outfit from Pooks & LuLu. I love to use fresh flowers or plants in my photos. Succulents are a great touch of color in these rustic set-ups. Take a peek at my other Newborn blogΒ using succulents.
Paw-fect Family of Four
A family photo was the perfect ending to this session. Love how Dad and Sugar coordinated in plaid, while Mom and baby glowed in white. What a beautiful family and a fun Fur Baby Newborn Session.
