Custom Heirloom Album
We live in a digital age where everything is just a click away. That technology certainly makes life a lot easier, but there is still something to be said for things that are tangible. Things you can have and hold, touch, and feel with your hands. Things we can cherish forever. My custom heirloom albums are just that thing. At SugaShoc Photography I strive to make sure that everyone looks picture perfect in every shot. However, my other goal is to make sure you leave with beautiful products that you can bring out over the years and reminisce upon. That’s why printing your photos is so important.
How it works
No matter what type of photo session you choose, Boudoir, Maternity, Newborn or Cake Smash, your digital images can be hand selected by you, and custom designed by me. I work with you to design the album of your dreams, and the images you see on your screen will come to life in a beautiful custom heirloom album.
Once your photo session is complete, we will move to the ordering portion of your session. You can choose from our current collections, and pick from our selection of covers. Albums can come in distressed leather, velvet, or linen in a variety of colors. You can also choose a photo cover option.
I will then hand edit each and every image to perfection. Each digital purchase will come with a color version, and a black and white version. You will then choose which version you’d prefer in your album. Some of my clients do choose to put both versions in if they love them both! After I design your album, you will receive a proof for your approval, and within a few weeks, you will receive your custom heirloom album.

Maternity and Newborn Albums
Pregnancy is a special time in a woman’s life. In my opinion, capturing that precious time on film is must. A gorgeous wall hanging or pregnancy announcements are wonderful (I do offer both those items as well). However, there is nothing like having an album to hold onto. It is a tangible memory of this important milestone that you will easily forget.
Same goes for a Newborn album. Once the maternity stage is over, you will have a beautiful bundle of joy in your arms. You will undoubtably want to have as many photos as possible of his or her quickly changing, adorable little face. Most of my clients tend to purchase a lot of images, and the biggest complaint I hear is: “Where will I put all these images?” With an album, you can print every single gorgeous image, and they will be kept safe for you to keep for generations to come.
Most of my clients do purchase an album from their maternity session, and a separate album from their newborn session. I do advise doing this especially if your maternity images are more on the boudoir side. That way, you can show off both sessions in a completely different way, with completely different covers! We will work closely together to design your maternity & newborn sessions. We can even work together to create a before and after look to make sure that the colors of the maternity gowns and newborn wraps flow together seamlessly. Boudoir Albums
Given the nature of a boudoir shoot, these images are not the type of thing you can take to the convenience store to make prints. That is why it is essential that all my boudoir clients have something tangible in their hands to remember their boudoir session experience. Many of my boudoir clients opt for a custom heirloom album because it can keep their images private, but they can pull it out every so often to admire or to gift! Some of my clients want to showcase their images in the form of gorgeous metal or acrylic wall art! I can help you create the wall art of your dreams!
